Client Testimonials

  • We just stayed for one night with the kids; it was a very nice experience. Accomodation was very clean and comfortable, the docking station for iPhone was a nice surprise. The breakfast surely deserves an extra recommendation. Perfect 'base' to visit Oxford or enjoy the countryside (Thames river just across the fields).

  • Had to chose a B & B for a family wedding, chose this as it was dog friendly. Have to say the welcome, after we had changed our arrival time more than once, was like coming home. A large and most welcome coffee was taken up to the room, the bed was King size, a lovely bath with loads of hot water, and even the kennel, for Fern the labradour, was as good as it gets, clean water and food was even offered. At 6am I walked down through the fields to the river Thames, magical, wildlife all around and just the sounds of the birdlife to break the silence. On returning a hearty breakfast was waiting. / 100 out of a 100

  • One of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed. Not only was the room large and beautiful, the bed was very comfy and the deep bath tub was divine. Gorgeous location right off the Thames. As we were walking the Thames Path and had our dogs with us, they had outdoor kennels for you four-legged friends. I was a little worried as it was cold outside, but they brought in big piles of straw for them to sleep on and our dogs made a little nest for the night no problem. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Lovely place and Selina the owner is a delight.

  • Stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip, the accommodation was clean and had spacious rooms. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order at the time wanted and was tasty. If you require an evening meal you would need to drive to the near by pubs. The couple who ran the b&b are very friendly and helped me when I had a flat tyre.

  • A quality B&B in a lovely spot surrounded by the wide open landscape and big sky of south Oxfordshire. Selina was very good to us and made us feel most welcome. The room was of a very high standard of decoration and tasteful with it too. The bed was big and comfy. My only regret is that I did not have the appetite on me to finish all of the delicious, freshly cooked, full English breakfast which Selina served. Best country bacon I have had in a very long time. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

  • Great attention to detail in every area. Spacious room, comfy bed, pristine bedding, big fluffy towels, spotlessly clean throughout with lovely touches like marshmallows for your hot chocolate. The best B&B breakfast we have ever experienced, cooked fresh to order with home made jams, big pots of coffee and nothing is too much effort for Bernie and Selina. Lovely to see a young couple running such a great venture to such high standards. Well worth a walk along the river to Culham lock, we really can't wait to go back very soon.

  • Stayed at Zouch Farm for one night on the way down to Southampton for a cruise. The old farm house is lovely and so close to Abingdon. We received a lovely welcome and offered drinks. Our room was overlooking the back area of the farm and the patio. All we could hear was wildlife. There was everything we needed in the room, with lots of extras including free wifi. Breakfast was excellent with quality ingredients and a really good choice. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

  • We needed accommodation for three couples over a weekend and didn't want a hotel..... Zouch Fram couldn't have been a better choice and we were unanimous in our praise for the beautifully decorated and spacious bedrooms, hearty but healthy breakfasts and the warm welcome from Selina and her husband. The rooms, while part of the house, are private and have their own breakfast room so it feels like you get a lot of space and this worked very well for us. It almost felt as if we had rented a house with someone else very kindly making our beds, replenishing the luxury toiletries and cooking our bacon to the perfect crispiness. We plan to return as an overnight stop on The Thames Path Walk later in the year and this is unusual for us as we really like trying new places, rarely revisiting B and Bs however good they are. One of our party wants me to mention the towels...... he says they are the heaviest he has ever used!

  • We booked Zouch Farm as a stop off on our way to Silverstone, and as soon as we arrived we realised that a quick one-night stay would not do it justice. The setting is just beautiful and the drive in to the grounds is really quite impressive. The staff were so accommodating and although we had to leave at the crack of dawn (5am!) to get a spot at the F1 track, they offered to make us bacon butties to take with us. We thought this was such a lovely gesture, and they set us up for the long day ahead! We would really love to go back to make the most of this place when we are not just stopping off as it's a little gem.

  • We have spent one night at Zouch B&B, and absolutely loved it! It was very clean, the room was big and ensuite and it was very quiet. Selina, the owner, cooked us an amazing breakfast with fresh local products. The B&B is very close to Oxford and it is easy to reach the "Park and Ride" car park from it.
